Dubai Hills Estate is a mixed-infrastructure area that was launched in 2014 and is a joint venture between two holding companies, Emaar Properties and Meraas Holding. In particular, this is the first phase of the construction of the district Mohammed Bin Rashid City (MBR City), and is essentially a "city in town" because of the grandiose scale of the project. The total built-up area is over 11 million m2, with a proposed occupancy of over 100,000 inhabitants in more than 30 blocks.
Most of the area is reserved for extensive landscape parks and gardens, outdoor areas and a 54 km bicycle route. From the property in the project presented: commercial center, hotels and hotel apartments, townhouses, middle and low-rise complexes and residential plots that are located in an area equal to 200 football fields. No community in the region can boast of this size.
About the area
According to the Dubai Hills Estate master plan, is an extensive residential complex, which is essentially divided into three areas:
- The central part is surrounded by 397 villas, which in particular belong to the community of Parkways & Fairways.
- In the northern part there are 2 shopping centers, middle-rise residential complexes built around 7 km street with shops and restaurants.
- In the third zone is concentrated higher density development in the communities of Maple and Sidra, where villas and townhouses are located. Sidra also consists of 3 phases: the first will present 170 villas, the second - 160, the third - about 145 villas.
Schools and universities
British educational institutions are just a 10-minute drive from Dubai Hills Estate, offering programs from Foundation Stage (FS1) to A / AS-Levels. Other nearby schools follow IB and US curricula from preschool to 12th grade. The nearest CBSE schools are on Al-Khail Street. In addition, there are many other schools nearby in Al-Barsha and Al-Barsha South, including the American School of Creative Sciences, School of Kings and Dubai Heights Academy.
The Village of Knowledge, known as an educational centre with many universities and institutes, is about 15 minutes away. Notable universities include Bradford, Wollongong, and Middlesex.
